Something that Aggravates me.

And that is my opinion also.. I smoke outside at work and when I am around my own mother I smoke away from her.. But everyone likes to blame the smoker in restaurants when the restaurants know that there will be smokers and some of their customers will be smokers also.. I am not like some smokers that I have seen in Wal-mart smoking down the aisles when they could go outside just like I do because Wal-mart is a non smoking enviroment..

You cannot drink in public. You cannot drive drunk. You will go to jail. I think dispearsed )sp) tabacco on a sidewalk or street should be considered litering and fined. Smokless tobacco does not harm me unless you spit it on me or I step in it. Smoking howver pollutes your body and mine. I do not want to smoke, yet another may I still have to deal with that. When someone has a beer that beer is not ingested by someone else unless wanted too. By law your not allowed to in public drunk nor drive drunk. Smoking however can be done anywhere killing others and causing harm in the process.
Thats why smoking should be illegal. Period.

If folks were truly considerate, they'd think about what they could be doing to the people around them when they light up.
Sure, they're addicted and need that fix, but when they light up around strangers they could very well be sending that stranger to the hospital that night (oh how I wish I could send ER fees to those people).

I dont like having to go to the hospital and maybe be out of commission for a couple of days because a smoker needed his/her fix and I couldn't get away from them fast enough.

Smoking is not a have to daily lifesaving part of life. It is a nasty habit, and people who do it should be banned from all eating establishments. Even if they aren't smoking in the restaurant, they still stink to high heaven and are totally disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a smoker. I recently ate at a local Waffle House that had just went smoke free in the past two months. The funny thing was, this was during the Christmas shopping season and very close to a very large mall and I was the only person there. The wait staff told me that from the day that the resturant began it's new smoking policy thier business has dropped by at least 80%. Even the late night-early morning crowds had seemed to disappear. Located beside this Waffle House is another 24 hour breakfast type resturant that is very similar to Waffle House and it was packed. From where I was seated I could also see a McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys, Fuddruckers, KFC, Marios Pizza and a Chinesse buffet. All of the other above mentioned resturants were extremly busy and clearly at least paying the bills.
When I enter a resturant I try to sit as far away from the non-smoking section as I can get. If I am the only smoker in my party I will refrain from smoking. I will not smoke in another persons car or home, even if they do smoke. But if a non-smoker enters my car or home I WILL SMOKE. If I am with someone who has health problems I resect that and will not smoke.
But before we try to make it illegal to smoke I feel that we need to make all cars illegal that are not made by American countrys. Lets ban all sports other then ping pong. No more falling in love and marring the person you choose, your parent must arrange your mate when you are born. I know all of these things are stupid and could never happen, or could they?
If any non-smoker eats at a resturant when I do, you can bet that I will be considerate of you but I also will ask you to be considerate of me by not breathing while I smoke.

You don't have to smoke to live, but have to breathe to keep a kickin. I hate it when I see people smoking because of them knowing how bad it is, and then how they brush it all off. Smokers need serious help!!!!!!
